It is well known that the icing on the cake for one traveling to London is grabbing a meal and a drink at a local pub. The British pubs mostly have the same attraction and purpose throughout the country and what better way to rest in the bustling city than to sit down and relax over a hot meal and a cold pint of beer. The English Pub Menu London could have several categories with various meals and although not all are tailored in the same exact style, the food and drinks offered are mostly the same.
Brunch and Lunch.
This section contains mostly meals served from noon to around 5.30pm.
The brunch part contains meals such;
Young’s beer-battered cod fingers, tartare sauce and shredded lettuce sandwich.
Loaded Duke which mostly contains Cumberland sausages, streaky smoked bacon, black pudding, fried eggs, roasted heritage tomato, mushroom and toasted sourdough, Cheddar cheese and pickle sandwich with fries among others.

Fish board , mostly is made up of Wild garlic & chilli king prawns, smoked Scottish salmon, smoked mackerel paté, potato salad, toasted sourdough, sweet chilli mayo, tartare sauce among others.
There are also the main courses which among them are;
Duck breast, new potatoes, carrot puree, roasted artichoke and watercress
Steak and ale pie, mashed potatoes, cabbage served with gravy.
Vegan burger, vegan cheese, ale onions, shredded lettuce, ketchup, vegan mayo with fries.
The sides that could accompany these meals include;
Young’s beer battered onion rings, sweet potato fries, skinny fries or chunky chips.
On this section is also a pudding menu with various puddings such as black sticks blue, apple, celery, chutney, seeded crackers and various ice creams.
1.The dinner menu is also divided into almost the same number of sections as the brunch and lunch menu; Starters, sharers, main courses, side dishes and puddings.
In the starters menu, there is dishes such as;
Soup of the day with warm crusty bread, Heritage tomato, basil with mozzarella salad among others.

Prime British beef burger, cheese, ale onions, shredded lettuce, ketchup, mayo and pickles with fries, Steak and ale pie, mashed potatoes, cabbage and gravy, Vegan burger, vegan cheese, ale onions, shredded lettuce, ketchup, vegan mayo with fries for vegans and Red pepper, courgette, carrot, spinach & goats cheese Wellington with mixed leaf salad for vegetarians.
The sides and puddings in this menu are the same as those in the brunch and lunch menu.
The bar snacks menu contains quick snacks that include;
Pork and black pudding , sweet potato fries, scotch egg, spicy chicken wings, sausage rolls among others.
The sharer board meals in the other menus may also be served at the bar snacks menu.
A pudding wine on the British pub menu refers to a dessert wine and this is among the desserts found on a pub menu and includes wines such as; Norton Cosecha Tardia Late Harvest Chardonnay, chorus Muscat Moelleux among others.
There’s also a Ports section which includes; Ruby Port Ferreira, LBV Port Ferreira among others.
Other sections in the menu may include a Kid’s menu, other wines, cocktails, specials and some even contain a Sunday menu.
The London pub menu is therefore almost similar to their counterparts around the country with an almost similar structure and dishes.
